| 内容記述 | 1971年にロールズの『正義論』が刊行されて以来、正義に関する議論はロールズの研究を出発点として展開されるようになってきた。本稿の目的は、ロールズ以降の正義論として、ギリガンのケアの倫理とセンのケイパビリティ概念を検討し、ロールズとは異なる道をさぐることにある。ロールズは、「自律的に意思決定できる自立した行為者」にもとづいて正義論を構築している。これとは対照的にギリガンは、ケアの倫理を相互依存的な関係のなかで、考察している。さらに、センのケイパビリティ概念もまた「圧倒的な非対称」のもとでの人々を前提にして、平等と不平等を考察しようとしている。ケアの倫理およびケイパビリティ・アプローチに依拠することによって、21世紀にふさわしい社会的厚生と正義を構想することが可能になる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Since the publication of Rawls's ‘A Theory of Justice’ in 1971, discussions on justice have been developed based on Rawls's work as a starting point. The purpose of this paper is to examine Gilligan's ethics of care and Sen's capability approach as post-Rawls theories of justice, and to look for a different path from Rawls's. Rawls's theory of justice is constructed based on actors who can make independent and autonomous decisions. Gilligan, by contrast, considers ethics of care in interdependent relationships. Furthermore, Sen, using the concept of capability, attempts to consider equality and inequality by acknowledging an 'overwhelming asymmetry' among people. By drawing on ethics of care and capability approach, it is possible to envision social welfare and justice that are appropriate to the 21st century | |||||
