| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to compare the viewpoints of Japanese teachers and college students with regard to Japanese society and education using the quantitative investigation data from public primary and junior high school teachers conducted in 2013, and from senior college students administered in 2015. From this survey, it was drawn that seniors are likely to be teachers, who take an optimistic view of the future Japanese society and are increasing in younger teacher’s generation in recent years. The level of the students’ consciousness of the social responsibility of the teaching profession is lower than the teachers’. Also they do not have active attitudes and actions toward Japan society. In summary, their aspects of social consciousness, attitude and action are weaker than the teachers’. On the other hand, the students and the teachers have some common points. First, the level of their consciousness of the autonomy of the profession is lower. The students have aptitudes that they can obey orders from their superior and faithfully accomplish their duty as teacher. Second, they support the trend of new liberalism reform. Third, they have confidence in their media literacies. Fourth, they take an optimistic view of the future of Japanese society. |
