| 内容記述 | 本稿は、大学での講義「西洋教育史」に使用する教科書を作ることを想定して作成したものである。教育思想を正しく深く理解するには、歴史、文化を十分理解していなければならない。大学は学問の場であるかぎり、幅広い領域の知識を統合化する教育が必要であることは言うまでもない。しかし現在、大学の講義時に使用される講義内容に相応しい教科書は皆無といってよい。専門書は豊富にあるが、大学の講義を想定しては書かれてないのである。 ソクラテスの時代の倫理・教育思想は、決して突然に生まれ出たものではない。その背景となり、推進力となったものとして、ギリシア神話、自然哲学者たちの思想、ギリシア悲劇、自然中心主義から人間中心主義への転換をはかったソフィストたちの思想,ギリシアの民主政などを挙げることができる。 本稿では、ソクラテスの伝記、歴史、そして、プラトンなどの作品を通じて、ソクラテスの人となり、人間像を概観する。それによって、ソクラテスの倫理・教育思想の一層の理解を深めることができると考える。 |

| 内容記述 | The first purpose of this study is to make a survey of the history in ancient Greece at basic point of democracy. And the second purpose is to make a schoolbook on “European educational history”. We need to understand the culture and the history of the times to understand their educational thoughts. To understand the characters of Socrates in ancient Greece is one of the ways to understand the ethics and education of Socrates. In this paper I outline the characters of Socrates by his life-story, life-history, Plato’s works and so on. Then I think we can deepen the ethics and education of Socrates. | |||||
