| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的はサウジアラビアの天然ガス産業の開発に外資導入が計画され,実現した2つのプロジェクトーサウジ・ガス・イニシアティブとガスラウンドーの背景にある要因について考察することである。その際に重要なのは,1998年と2003年に注目することである。前者はアブドラ国王(当時皇太子)が外資導入政策への転換を表明した時期であり,後者はサウジ・ガス・イニシアティブが失敗したことを踏まえて,その後のガス・ラウンドが新たに企画されていった時期である。これらのそれぞれの時期を考察することによって,どのような状況が背景にあるのかを明らかにする。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The aim of this paper is to make a research on the backgrounds of the two projects-Saudi Gas Initiative and Gas Round-which were planned and realized for development of the natural gas industry in Saudi Arabia. The important point is that we focus on the two years-1998, and 2003. The former is the year King (the former Prince) Abdullah expressed transformation to the policy for introduction of foreign capital, and the latter is the year new Gas Round was planned based on failure of the Saudi Gas Initiative. We will make clear the backgrounds of these projects by picking up these two years. | |||||
