Here, focusing on the learning side is the examination of the adaptation process of the first year students. It is aimed at telling the difference about the students who think that they have adapted to the university and who do not think so in a half year after entering the university (in October when they award the first term grade). As a result, it shows that the students who have adapted to the university learning have the better grade and it seems to them that everything is running better, about the department, subject and life of the university. Especially they pay more attention to the lesson. Besides the learning side, they also have the confidence in their personal relationship. The fact above has been known in high school days, furthermore, it has been known, too, that their study skills and characteristic in high school has a great influence on the adaptation of university learning in a half year of their entrance. But there is a specific factor that can improve themselves after their entrance to the university, it is that we can think the study skill and the characteristic as a filter, and this filter is also an important factor in the first year education.
