Additionally, these sessions have been found to reduce anxiety, increase self-confidence, and foster a more positive attitude toward language learning. This study offers valuable insights into the role of extracurricular language programs in promoting holistic student development and provides implications for improving language education strategies in university settings. Well-being and academic motivation are closely correlated and have a significant impact on Japanese students’ performance in class and English programs. Enhancing emotional and social support, reducing anxiety, and fostering intrinsic motivation can lead to improved academic outcomes.
