They generally used the term \"teenage rebellion,\" which describes the conflict between parents and adolescents. However, some studies report a change in such conflicts. This study examined the behaviors and feelings from free-response statements, obtained from college students, to understand the actual situation of conflicts between parents and adolescents . A total of 38 people participated in the survey, and 26 of them (68.4% of the total) indicated past instances when they felt strongly rebellious. The analysis was conducted by dividing the participants into those with and without rebellious incidents. A limitation of this study is the small number of survey participants. However, results on the emotional and frequency of rebellion, both emotional and behavioral, showed that few adolescents rebelled on a daily basis, with many mildly specific rebellious behaviors. \nThis suggests that, overall, as shown in previous studies, few adolescents experience severe rebellion or conflict and that breakdowns in the relationship between adolescents and their parents, even if only temporarily, are rare.
