To gain insights to drive this research, we analyzed pre-entrance education-related data (2017-2019) at Kansai University of International Studies, in addition to the reviews of previous studies on pre-entrance education. As a result, in any year, the higher the achievement rate of the tasks for pre-entrance education, the higher the grade of the diagnostic test for basic academic skill at the time of admission, also the GPA of the first spring semester tends to be higher. Moreover, a significant difference was observed between the high and the low groups of achievement rate.
