Recognition of equipment is a necessary tool for expression in the study of drawing and crafts, but it cannot be used unless it is used properly. By conducting a chronological survey of children, students, novice teachers, and teachers in charge of the arts and crafts department, we clarified changes in the perception of tools. As a result of the investigation, the following became clear: (1) The recognition of the equipment that was acquired as a child does not change until the student becomes a student, neither in the name nor in the experience of using it. (2) The teacher in charge of the arts and crafts department has a very high awareness of tools. (3) When you start working as a teacher, you will be able to identify the correct name from the time you were a student.
