Currently, problems of effort minimization such as Satisfice have been pointed out in online surveys. This problem can also occur in online experiments. Especially in the experimental paradigm of the mere exposure effect, it is highly likely that the choice \"not to see the stimulus\" is made due to effort minimization at the contact stage. In the present experiment, we used a confirmation task to check whether participants saw the stimuli in the exposure phase, and only those participants who saw the stimuli in the contact phase were included in the analysis. The results showed that about 20% of the participants did not see the stimuli in the exposure phase. The results showed that about 20% of the participants did not see the stimulus in the exposure phase.
